At Bloom of the Block, we celebrate the individuality of every flower, allowing its form, colour, structure, texture and movement to shine.

Flowers are incredible — exciting, beautiful, unexpected and sometimes wonderfully weird— and we want every recipient to feel that sense of discovery when they receive our work.

ABOUT

Bloom of the Block, founded by Leyla Husseyin, grew out of a background in design, styling and visual merchandising for large retailers.

While working in styling, Leyla spent years visiting London’s main flower market, where the diversity, colour and character of the wholesale floral varieties felt far removed from the traditional flower shop experience. Wanting to bridge that gap, she launched Bloom of the Block in 2014 — a studio and (previous) retail space rooted in a stylist’s approach to flowers, celebrating distinctive varieties, natural composition and modern, design-led floristry.
